External 4G 5G Antenna
The 5G external antenna has a waterproof enclosure for long-term outdoor uses and receives the best mobile signals for your 4G 5G modems and routers. It has a robust mounting kit to install on a Ø35–50mm pole outside. With the 60cm coaxial cable and a low-loss N-male connector, you can directly install it on our EZR3X series outdoor routers. You can also use a jumper cable to connect to indoor mobile routers.
Log-Periodic 5G Directional Antenna
The 4G 5G external antenna is a directional log-periodic antenna with a series of dipole elements inside. It provides directional and high gain with radiation focused in the forward directional perpendicular to the antenna axis.
3G 4G 5G Broadband Antenna Frequency
The external 5G log-periodic antenna covers broadband mobile frequencies, including 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR (New Radio), between 698MHz and 3800MHz. The wide-band 4G 5G antenna supports worldwide 5G Sub-6GHz mobile networks. It also covers all 3G and 4G LTE bands to support 4G fallback on mobile modems and routers.

MIMO 5G Antenna Array
The 5G router uses 4X4 MIMO to aggregate different 5G frequency bands to work together and achieve the rated cutting-edge 5G mobile internet speed.
When replacing default mobile antennas on the 5G routers, the best practice is to rebuild a 4×4 MIMO antenna array, as the right side image shows. You could also use 2xMIMO configurations that reduce the 5G internet speed but should be fast enough for daily internet surfing.
Installing a single 5G yagi antenna is not suggested since the mobile internet speed will drop significantly.
