How Does a 4G SIM Router Work?
The 4G router works standalone by integrating a CAT4 mobile modem, two SIM card slots, WiFi hotspots, and Ethernet ports.
After inserting a SIM card, the 4G modem connects to 2G, 3G, or 4G LTE mobile networks and accesses the internet with a max 150Mbps download speed.
Then, it provides mobile internet connectivity to wireless devices like smartphones, tablets, and home appliances linked to its WiFi hotspots. It also passes through the internet on wired connections such as computers, switches, or indoor routers connected to the Ethernet ports.
