The outdoor SIM router is unlocked to use any workable data plan, such as a regular phone SIM, data-only plan, or IoT data plan. It supports major Australian mobile carriers, such as Optus Telstra Vodafone, and virtual carriers.

The SIM card slot(s) takes Nano standard SIM card, 0.5" by 0.3" inch (12.3x8.8mm). Please ensure the SIM card is workable and has enough data allowance.

The EZR34(T) series routers offer 1Gbps LAN and 1200Mbps WiFi with CAT12 LTE-Advanced or 5G-NR mobile modem. They can provide fast-speed 4G/5G mobile internet for high-traffic applications such as gaming and video streaming.

The EZR33(L) series routers provide 100Mbps LAN and 300Mbps WiFi with CAT4 or CAT6 mobile LTE modem. These are the economical mobile SIM routers for low-traffic demands and essential mobile internet solutions such as rural internet, IoT applications, etc.

The outdoor 4G router has a SIM card slot(s) and a LTE modem inside. After inserting a workable SIM card, the mobile modem connects to 3G/4G networks and gets an internet connection. The outdoor modem router can output the internet traffic on the WiFi hotspot and wired LAN port.

LAN Ethernet - You can connect another router to the LAN port on the PoE injector and extend the intranet network.

The carrier aggregation will automatically turn on when there are sufficient signals, such as multiple qualified bands from the same carrier. Read more about carrier aggregation technology.

The 5G router supports 4x carrier aggregation, the LTE CAT12 router supports 3x CA, and the CAT6 modem supports 2x CA. The CAT4 modem does not support carrier aggregation.

The outdoor 4G router needs a fair mobile signal reception, for example, above -101dBm RSRP signal. You can run a field test of the signal reception.

If the mobile signal is too weak, suggest changing the location and installing it at a higher altitude. Upgrading the 4G antenna to higher-gain aerials is helpful to get the best available signals.

Using a mobile signal booster with outdoor 4G routers is not recommended since it increases the noise level, which causes slower internet speed and even packet loss.

The outdoor 4G router includes a complete set of brackets, a wrench, and a manual. You can turn the L-shape bracket to install the router in multiple directions. The suggested installation is on a vertical Ø35~50mm pole. The pole is not included.

The outdoor 4G router uses default IEEE 802.3af/at standard 48/52Volt PoE power.

It has a DC socket to take a wide range of 9~52Volt DC power. The supported DC jack is Ø 5.5/2.1 jack. Do not use overloaded electric power. For example, the typical 12Volt power should have a 1.5~2.0Amps current.
