The outdoor 4G Wi-Fi router features a mobile CAT6 LTE-Advanced modem compatible with European standard 3G UMTS and 4G LTE networks. It’s equipped with two SIM card slots for reliable backup connectivity.
How Does Outdoor 4G Wi-Fi Router Work?
After inserting a SIM card, the outdoor router automatically connects to 3G/4G mobile networks using included exterior antennas.
Then, it provides LTE internet to wireless devices like phones, tablets, and smart appliances linked to its 1200 Mbps Wi-Fi hotspot. It also offers 1000 Mbps wired internet for computers or indoor routers connected to the PoE injector.
The CAT6 LTE modem supports carrier aggregation by combining multiple LTE bands, allowing a maximum 300 Mbps download speed. The outdoor 4G Wi-Fi router works standalone to provide a full-scale mobile internet gateway, and it can also bridge 4G internet to your existing network.
Rural Internet on 4G SIM Card
Deployed outdoors and using high-gain exterior antennas, the 4G SIM card router picks up distant mobile signals and avoids indoor barriers. The carrier aggregation enabled CAT6 modem bonds multiple LTE bands, unlocking fast rural LTE internet.
